The music for this commercial was a modification of the track ‘Open Heart Zoo’ from the album of the same name by Martin Grech
on its airing in the summer of 2002 it caused a flurry of interest and boosted the record sales for his debut album . It also won an award for ‘best music used in commercial’ at the UK Advertising Awards in the same year

Fox wanted a sense of ‘time travel’ and suspense in the music for this drama series, the brief was focused around the idea of travelling backwards in time which is the central to the story line. I used some ‘time ticking’ sounds a slightly ‘dizzy’ feel in the pads and a sense of slow build to a dramatic end.

The music for this scene from smallville was a sync extract taken from the the track ‘Guiltless’ from the album ‘Unholy by Martin Grech. The dark and sinister mood of the piece was ideally suited to this ‘vampire’ scene in smallville. This track was also pitched by the producers of the hollywood film ‘Batman Returns’ for the end titles but was rejected at the eleventh hour.
